Went on a Poker Run Yesterday. For people who do not know what that is, motorcycles and cars pay a fee to go to different locations and at each location they pick a card out of a hat. When they get back to the destination where they started, they pick the best poker hand. You receive prizes. Most poker runs benefit someone in need. This poker run was for our friend Ruth, whom was diagnosed with breast cancer. They had a silent auction,food and a band that night. It turned out great and they raised a lot of money for her.
It is May and still very chilly in the midwest. I planted some cucumbers but had to replant because of the cold. I haven't even got my tomatoes planted yet. Just to cold and damp yet.
Just got my taxes done and sent in. Thank goodness. Done for another year.
I just got a new job at a coffee shop. Wow I never new there was so many good coffees,fraps and smoothies. love them. This place always smells great when I go to work. It gives you a great up lifting feeling.
I love the sun it is so beautiful. You just feel so good when that ray of light hits you. Happy Leap Year!
Its snowing again. I like winter but it is just hanging on this year.
I am not doing anything special today. I have to work. Hopefully this weekend I can have a late valenyine dinner.

Today is like a heat wave. It is around 46 degrees raining and thundering. This weather is crazy.
